OFF AT LAST - WELL SORT OF!
Set sail on 8th March, but without the caravan.  What would a Sprott holiday be without some sort of hiccup?  The 4WD needed parts which took 2 weeks to get from Japan.  So we headed to Goolwa in our other car, and had a lovely week in a time share resort.  Caught up with two lots of friends, at Creswick and Cape Jervis.  The Coorong is looking beautiful, with heaps of water and lots of bird life.  The river level at Goolwa has increased by 2 metres over the past 12 months. We even saw some NZ fur seals lolling about.   Retraced our steps to Heathmont, and picked up a healthier 4WD.  The upside of returning, was that we spent time with the family, celebrating multiple birthdays, and bidding a fond farewell (again).  Must admit it felt a little strange camping in the caravan in our own driveway, as our house is now occupied by Col, Riss, Joel & Ethan. We intend to leave tomorrow - this time driving via Mildura to Sth Australia.
